Boot Camp!

Club Scrap's Assembly Line Boot Camp began this week. The first Challenge is Metallics; we have to use something metallic on our artwork. This was not as hard as I thought it might be. I was able to use a charm, brads, glitter and gold embossing powder and then I found some great metallic paper from a way-back kit Culinary from March 2004.

See, I knew I would use all that "old" paper someday!

Here are my creations for this week's challenge:

I started with Aspen December 2013 since it was still on my desk.  Metal charm added the right touch.

I tried playing with some gold crayon-like pens but I was not getting the look I wanted so I resorted to gold embossing powder.

Again I used gold embossing powder then I added gold glitter to the tree and brads at the corners.

I pulled out the Culinary paper and found some great die cuts frames too. Silver paper was embossed in my Sizzix Big Shot, then added some pewter brads.

I love these challenges...makes me work outside of my comfort zone. Can't wait to see what next week will be!  Why don't you join us ?
